Sierra Nevada 2002

Sat. 8-17-02

Easy up to Silver Pass—awesome views of Mt. Hilgard and Seven Gables.  Saw Mt. Gabb on the way down.  Long downhill brought us to the ferry pick-up at the end of Lake Edison.  Choppy waters made for a wet ride across.  Ron took a bunk in the hiker’s tent.  I set up my tent outside.  Great dinner, got resupply package.
