Journal Entry: Cleared out partially last night, still some clouds most of the night but no more rain. Warm night, low around 55F. Started walking around 8:15. Lost trail several times but found our way. Trail was much better at the Letora Lake junction. Letora Lake is beautiful with granite and view probably to the crest! Downhill to Cow Meadow Lake, then up to Wood Lake. Several creek crossings—N. Fork Cherry was boots off, Wood Lake was also. First two crossings of Buck Meadow Creek were “wet” boots on rock hops. Next one was boots off, and W. Fork Cherry was an easy rock hop. After Wood Lake, down to Louse Canyon. Found a campsite upstream from the trail crossing on the west side. Mosquitos on and off, weather good with some clouds but mostly clear now at 6pm. Tomorrow we head home!
