Big Lake slabs to Huckleberry Lake

Journal Entry: Started walking around 8:15. Downhill through trees, then some thick brush (short), then slabs down to Cherry Creek. Most of the hike up Cherry Creek was on slabs, with some areas of trees, and rock formations at the high end to go around. A bit of brush too. Crossed the creek and found the trail on the other side. Long walk uphill to Huckleberry Lake, losing the trail from time to time, and crossing East Fork Cherry Creek three times. All were boots off. Got to Huckleberry Lake around 5pm. Clouds around most of the day, some dark but always some blue sky. In camp we had a short period of rain around 5:45.
