Sun. 8-11-02 Started the day with hazy
skies—turned out to be smoke, probably from the Sequoia fire. The smoke obstructed some of our views from Donohue Pass.
Started out with a 2000 foot climb to the pass.
Beautiful basins and beautiful mountains.
The view south from the pass was awesome, would have been better
without the smoke. Made it down
to camp at Rush Creek (9600 ft) by 2:30. |
