Today had a small taste of civilization—hiked down to Devil’s Postpile where we re-met the PCT.  The postpile was visible from a distance.  Stopped at Red’s Meadow to use phone—Ron had breakfast in the café.  Then at 11:00 it was back on the trail for 1500 ft+ of uphill, first thorough burnt forest, then unburnt forest.  We’re camped at the crossing of Deer Creek at 9100 ft.  Got here around 3:30.
