Spent some time in the morning trying to photograph an elusive pika—I did get a couple of pictures.  On the way back to North Glacier Pass, we passed a marmot napping on a rock.  He wasn’t phased to see us.

Journal Entry:  Fairly uneventful day—followed yesterday’s path to Thousand Island Lake, then the use trail on the north shore.  Found a campsite on a peninsula—got here before 2pm.  Tomorrow we are back on “official” trail taking the PCT High Trail toward Agnew Meadows.
