Decided last night to take the “easy” way out to East Lake tonight then to Sphinx/Bubbs Creek confluence, then out early. So today was an easy day—2 or 3 miles down to East Lake, got here just before noon, and we are spending a relaxing day at the lake. A few other people are here (first people seen since Saturday morning!). Got a camp near the main inlet. Tomorrow is a long 9 mile day, but all on trail, downhill. |
