Mt. Goddard and the Ionian Basin 2001

Easy day today—came up to Martha Lake, then up Goddard Creek Pass.  Long uphill but fairly easy.  Reached the lake at 12240 feet around 12:30pm.  Decided against trying Goddard this afternoon, we’ll save it for tomorrow morning.  A few large, thin clouds are up now.  After Goddard tomorrow, we plan to cross the Ionian Basin and position ourselves under Wanda Pass.
