Mt. Sill and the Palisades 1998

On-trail day for a change!  Best night’s sleep so far.  On trail at 8am -- headed down to Muir Trail.  Saw around 15 other people throughout the day.  Camped at junction with Bishop Pass Trail.  Ranger stationed nearby came and had a chat with us as we were eating dinner.  Lots of mosquitos here too.  Looking forward to coming out Monday -- tomorrow’s goal is 2-4 miles from trail head.
